I was raised by a single mom until 4th grade. Then she married my Step-Dad. I'm really close to my family. I look up to my uncle because he started his own company by himself and his company grew more and more. I hope to take over his company one day or start up my own.
My dad has cancer and we found out last year. But it got worse this year. It sucks. I hate when people make jokes about the disease too. So just please don't talk about it. I hide my feelings on the topic really well. But you just never know when you're going to break down. Sorry that this isn't a happy thing haha. ~Carla Kus
I've never been close with my parents. I had to grow up fast when I was kindergarten and on because a lot of fighting between my parents and one sister and it was scary growing up in that environment.
I don't like the hype associatived with football. Everyone worships the NFL players for running around for 5 hours. High schools kids look up to these "role models" and believe they can one day play in NFL. Yet, the percentage of people who make it in is very slim. Its not a career. Someone can't train for it, it's is a dream and the idea that parents give; "you can be anything you want" really should have some set guide lines.
I'm afraid of just about everything that everyone else finds exciting and fun. I feel the need to make sure everyone is ok and is helped before myself all the time. I always try my hardest to have a smile on my face no matter what situation or what kind of day I had! -alyssa sprengel
Both of my parents hail from Poland. They were born and raised there and came to America in their twenties. We speak polish at home and it was my first language. GO POLAND! -Karolina Chojnowska
My dad has been unemployed for about 5 years and recently he found a steady job, but that still isnt good enough for some people because of the stuff he did in the past. My parents like to think that were close but really i hate how they fight all the time and i always have to be in the middle of it. I also had to grow up fast in order to keep my mind off of the fighting and on school work and enjoying life as a kid.
If you asked me the last time I had a conversation with my older sister, I honestly would not remember. When we were younger, we would fight all the time. That's turned in to not talking, and it's been that way for years now. When I tell people about this, they'll think it's sad, but it's basically normal for me and I don't even think about it. -Katie Prochilo
My family is my everything and when my grandpa passed away last year it basically killed me too. Now that my brother is in college it has made me miss him so much more yet love him that much more. I dont like my family leaving me and its hard to let those loved one go for me. -Kiersten
I get stressed really easily. If I try/do something new, or if I have a lot of homework, or..anything really. And I cry a lot, though my best friend is the only friend who has actually seen me cry. Though usually I'm pretty happy and content with life.
I actually suffer from chronic insomnia due to stress. It's not a huge deal, but it has been getting worse lately (I think due to Junior year madness!). Putting a positive spin on this, I really value sleep more now that it's getting rarer and rarer.
I used to trust people way too easily and because of that I was taken advantage of all the time. Because of that, it's now really hard for me to show anyone what I really think of things because I don't want them to get too close. I can't even trust myself to do what I think is right because even though I am very hard-headed, I have a very weak will when it comes to myself, which is why I am such a terrible procrastinator...haha...

ReplyDeleteI don't trust people very often. I suppose there isn't a specific reason for this, but that's just the way it is.
